Is tidying up your closet a problem for you?
Can you easily find the clothes you need right now?
Are you often in a hurry when searching and waste time and nerves?
As an official consultant using the KonMari® method and professional room organizer, I have already accompanied several customers on their way to better organization at home. In this way, customers make optimal use of space and time. You also feel better. How you feel in your home is important. Home should be the place where we can relax. I am convinced that a healthy home also means a healthy mind. You agree? Adding a little style to your organization will give you a wonderful place that makes you feel great.
Have you ever heard of organizing clothes using the KonMari® method? If not, now is the time to find out why it makes sense to organize your clothes using the method mentioned. After completing the method, cleaning the wardrobe becomes easier and the overview of clothes becomes better. The method involves first putting all the clothes in a pile (bed, floor, where there is more space). Clothing includes socks, underwear and all your clothing items. Check each item of clothing individually. This means that you pick up a piece of clothing and ask yourself: Does the piece of clothing in question make your eyes light up? Do you feel like this piece of clothing is special for you? Are you looking forward to wearing it? If the answer to these questions is yes, keep the garment. If not, say goodbye and move on. It is extremely important that you be completely honest with yourself. This is the only way to keep your favorite clothes and make tidying up your closet easier.

FEYDOM modular sofas – blog – 8 tricks to organize your closet
I present to you 8 tricks how to organize your closet so that you are more relaxed, find the clothes you need right away and save space and time.
1. Once you’ve cleaned out your closet, keeping only the clothes you care about, and to make cleaning the closet even easier, now is the time to assign your clothes their place in the closet. The easiest way is to sort the clothes into categories. For example: knitwear, short sleeves, trousers, jackets, long sleeves, blouses, etc.
2. T-shirts with long and short sleeves as well as knitwear are best stored folded using the KonMari® method. Folded this way, T-shirts take up the least amount of space and you get a good overview of the clothing. At first it may take a little longer to fold the clothes, but believe me, it’s worth persevering because then tidying up the closet will become much easier. This way of folding clothes allows you to store your t-shirts on a shelf or in a drawer.

3. I recommend keeping knitwear folded on a shelf or in a drawer, as hangers can often change their shape.
4. Blouses and jackets should be hung on hangers as these are generally items of clothing that wrinkle quickly.
5. The next trick I like to recommend to my clients is to unify all the hangers in the closet. This means you only have one row. Replace all hangers. Avoid thick wooden hangers as they take up more space and allow you to store less clothing. I like to recommend thin hangers covered in velvet to my customers. They are thinner and the velvet protects clothing. They also ensure that straps or some thinner blouses, for example, do not slip down.

6. Storage of scarves, belts and handbags: These three categories also clasify as clothing, so don’t forget them. There are also some solutions on the market for these three categories. There are different scarf hangers to keep all scarves in one pile. Special hangers for belts, ties and handbags are also available. This way you can simplify the process of tidying up your closet, which takes very little time.
7. If possible, keep all items of clothing in one closet, regardless of the season. If you need to rotate seasonal clothing (one season in front, one season in back), don’t forget to store seasonally by category. Be careful when storing clothes in boxes. Make sure clothing is stored properly to avoid damage or soiling.
8. The final trick that will make tidying up clothes quicker and more practical is to mark shelves and drawers. Label the clothing categories: long shirts, short shirts, pants, etc. The quicker you notice the clothes, the quicker you’ll clean up. Children especially like such labels because they can act independently in everyday life by labeling them.

BONUS TRICK: You’ve checked your clothes, organized your accessories, and assigned a spot to each category. Now it’s time to add your style to your wardrobe. Treat yourself to a wooden box for accessories, for example, for special items of clothing. For example, if you really enjoy your watches, treat yourself to a beautiful tray that nicely completes the entire room or closet. Place the pieces you care about closer so you can see them every day. Marie says that each of us should set our sights on the piece we care about most. To see it every day. Choose such organizers that will make your closet more comfortable. Don’t forget the dimensions of your shelves and drawers. Most of the time I recommend customers to buy transparent organizers. The contents can be quickly identified; they contain handles that act as drawers. If you store your clothes in drawers, I recommend purchasing drawer dividers as they are adjustable in depth. They also adapt to your content. This means the clothing stands upright and is transparent. All organizational accessories are available in the online shop “Organizacija s stilom” (Organization with Style).
There are many ways to organize a closet, and these are the tricks that I follow and recommend to my clients as a professional space organizer and official KonMari® advisor. If you are honest with yourself about this process, organizing your closet will be successful. Remember that in the long run you want to organize the closet so that it serves you for a long time and functionally.
